Turbo Training and Pool time

Hi

Just to let you know turbo training recommences tonight (Tuesday night) starting at 6.30 in the squash court.

Bring trainers.

Session will 1hr 10 min turbo set followed by a 1 mile brick run around the bridges.

The club have also managed to get additional pool time on a Thurs from 8.

3 lanes available as per Mondays.

The plan would be to repeat Mondays set on a Thurs with someone taking each lane and as the season progresses to introduce swimming time trials on a Thurs night.

Mini-Aquathon this Wednesday!

Mini-Aquathon: Wed 8 February, 14.00-16.00

A final reminder about our second mini-aquathon event this Wednesday. This event is free to enter and consists of a 400m swim followed by a 2 Km run.

The swim will take place in the PEC pool, and the run is two laps outdoors. Meet on Wednesday at 2pm in the sports hall to the right of the entrance to the swimming pool, where you can leave your towel and running shoes (and T-shirt/shorts if you are not swimming in a trisuit).

Afterwards we will retire to the Parlour for beer and pizza!

New training times, swimming sets, what's on

New training times

Just another reminder that from this week, Swim training will be on Mondays (20.00-21.30, PEC pool) and turbo training will be on Tuesdays (18.30-19.30, PEC Squash Court 3). The times for run training and spin classes are unchanged.

Swimming sets

We have just put all the weekly swim sets up on the website. If you go to Sets, you can see all the running and swim sets for this year. You can use any of these sets during your solo training sessions.
